When they recognized the grace bestowed upon me, 
James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, 
gave me and Barnabas their right hands in partnership, 
that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

God Works in each and everyone of us

The one who worked in Peter for an apostolate to the circumcised worked also in me for the Gentiles. (Gal 2:8)

Be mindful of the Poor

The Lord said, "When you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” (Lk 14:13-14)
 
Only, we were to be mindful of the poor, which is the very thing I was eager to do. (Gal 2:10)

Co-Workers in the Truth

Beloved, you are faithful in all you do for the brothers and sisters, especially for strangers; they have testified to your love before the Church. Please help them in a way worthy of God to continue their journey.  For they have set out for the sake of the Name and are accepting nothing from the pagans. Therefore, we ought to support such persons,so that we may be co-workers in the truth. (3 John 5-8)
